Snowmine impressed us at our flagship CMJ show at Pianos, where they opened for Caveman and The Stepkids. The band yesterday released a new track (available for streaming here) which they wrote and recorded in less than 48 hours. "Curfews" features a sound that's dreamier than most of this band's repertoire, enjoy it and don't miss their next live performances at The Loft (Hoboken) on 11.18 and Cake Shop on 12.08. Theophilus London recently rolled through ATL to show some love while opening up for Friendly Fire at The Loft in Atlanta. The show was fairly early because London was a supporting act, and aside from sound isses that the artist was obviously not feeling, he threw down an entertaining set. For about an hour ATL got a little taste of Brooklyn coming through the speakers. He played his singles like, "Last Name London," and "I Stand Alone," sprinkled with awesome crowd pleasers such as "Why Even Try (RAC REMIX)" and "Humdrum Town." According to the promoters from the newly-minted and hopefully-monthly party called A.POP, "the events aim to merge the dance nightlife culture with a sophistication and appreciation for art and especially up-and-coming artists and musicians". Each party carries a title, the first of which is "Inflate Me", which the artists have free interpretation over.
