When you first spin The Loose Salute 's new album Tuned to Love , the first track (ironically titled Death Club ) is guaranteed to make you think it's going to be a sunshiney bubble-gum country album of happy-go-lucky tunes that will dredge up memories of top 40 hits from the 70's. The Loose Salute plays supercute pop with some hints of the sound of the 60's, lovely ballads with the most mellow and nice vocal I've ever heard, and fancy bassriffs.
