Yeahhhhhh. Can't say we've ever heard anything like this before (OK, it does sort of sound like Salem). "Lost Generation" by sound like heavy as hell shoegaze as rammed through the hip-hop/electronic record collection of a mad man. We can dig that. Unison - Lost Generation Unison ( Facebook ) ( Tumblr ) Rating 8.2

On the first of August Get Flavor records are set to launch their first compilation ( Phuture Triba l ) consisting of ten tracks from the some of the world's best tropical bass producers. Keeping things nice and neat it's also marks their tenth release in what's been so far a top notch catalog (we're eagerly awaiting their next ten here at the Scatter HQ!). Before leaving the page you must check out track 9 by Armes&Suites, can't wait to add this one to my sets [...]

Would you care to introduce yourself? Hi Lloyd, I'm Mike Clark, I do vocals and guitar, and have sex for Fife alt. rock band The Lost Generation How would you describe the music you make? Sheesh... erm thats a toughy like..You can tell I have no idea of what to answer for this. I think people will take their own views really when they have a listen, describing [...]

Few free beats and pieces here for you today - call it an early Christmas present: Gadget ( or here ), the man of many talents, comes through in his DaWordsmith guise and drops this little gem: 'War Stories (A Story To Tell pt2)' . If you're not familiar with his work then get to know, he's part of the Millennium Jazz Music clique who provide really dope, positive Hip Hop to a scene that really needs just that. He's also hooked up with B'ham's TLG and Kelkovski on [...]

Wassup, soul kids? How we feeling out there? I know that I've probably been left for dead, or maybe plastered on the side of the milk carton you use to float your Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but there's no need to call Nancy Grace just yet. Despite all reports to the contrary, yours truly is alive and back to raise some long-awaited hell. It's cold and rainy today, which reminds me that before long, I'll be spending the majority of my time in hibernation. That likely means trouble for all of you, [...]
This track reminds me of Mudmowth's 'Most Colourful Years' - it's about being a kid and the beat by 2nd Suzpect has a real feel good factor. 'Grown Ups' is featured on 'Flying The Flag' and the video was done by Baby Knotted Productions. Reggiimental and his whole Rusty Jukebox crew are on the rise and are defo ones to watch. The Lost Generation will be dropping their album 'Lost Property' very soon in partnership with Eat Good Records.

Young Shy was the son of Shaolin and was perhaps the one of the few Clan offshoots who can claim "success," having released albums and appearing in films and videos. He's also been on the lam before and served a short prison stint. In other words, the once young cat has done it all while making his way to adulthood...and he's still releasing music. " On and On " indeed. Hit the break for the materials. Shyheim Shots Shyheim The Lost Generation [...]

There's a whale, over there! Not really, but if you do go over there ( to Rusty Jukebox's website of course ) then what you will find is something larger than an aquatic mammal. What you'll discover is a vast vault of vibrantly vivacious (sorry, watched 'V for Vendetta' the other night) Hip Hop tunes one of which is one of my most favourite tunes this year: 'Let me Be' by T.L.G. (The Lost Generation) which features Reggiimental, Ras Supa, Biggaman, S.C, Joe Gutta [...]
