I have been listening to a good deal of softer, quieter and more laid back electronic tunes over the last few months, which has meant this mixtape slowly building and evolving since last December. So some of these tracks are brand new, whilst others are some of my favourites from the end of 2009 - it has been my most played playlist though so I though it was about time I shared. Their new single (which will be released on NRONE Records on 4th August) is an intelligent offering...pretty cool melodies with some decent hooks. This is only part of what The Lost Levels are about for me. Their more psychedelic tracks work better, which I'm guessing they do not have that mass appeal that the single offers. Having seen the band live, I know what they are capable of. Don't think I'm knocking the single because [...]
