In keeping up with the Big Money Shot's Final Grand Contest at Saint Brigid's Centre for the Arts . The third band to play was The Love Machine . I was very excited to see them play. Considering they have been featured in this site . Alot of The Love Machine fans came in droves to support them. They played four great songs! Started off with Love Is On Your Side and everyone just belted out the chorus [...]
Hey buds! The fall is continuing to fly by, bringing us closer and closer to those frigid winter months. It's getting darker earlier, so why don't you let some Audio Blood artists brighten up your evenings with one of many shows! Ben Caplan and Charlotte Cornfield are setting out on a cross-country tour! Carleton Stone is geared up for his tour of the eastern and western provinces, landing him at the edges of both oceans this month. Nova Scotia Music Week is just around the corner and [...]

Ottawa's The Love Machine will be hitting up The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on November 15th to celebrate the vinyl release of their latest album Sweater Weather . The Love Machine has been named best band in 2011 by I(Heart)Music.net and it's easy to see why. The four-piece are burgeoning and Sweater Weather is the push to a synergistic pop, with a range of mosaic pop tunes with feverish and elevated hooks, and weaves through a collective artistry that's uniquely their own. [...]

space art - "love machine" (download) [audio http://www.divshare.com/direct /15997235-c0f.MP3} Goddamn, I love this song. This was released in 1980 by French band Space Art . None of their songs compare to this, but they still have released some great records. Their overall use of drums seemed way before its time. Check out this record. buy
Christina Aguilera - 'Genie In A Bottle'
Balanced between a life in the nation's capital and a busy touring schedule, this is the year The Love Machine make their mark in Canadian music. Launching Sweater Weather the band's third release into the arena, the brawny, pop-winged four-piece announce the official release and host their vinyl debut on November 15, 2011 at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. Meanwhile, back on home soil the band is competing in Live 88.5's Big Money Shot competition. With [...]

The boys from Rizzle Kicks recently answered some questions for us and it's fair to say they're our best interviewees yet. We found out what they learned at Brit School, who would win in a thumb war and what they think about Irish girls. Amazing. Hello Rizzle Kicks! How are you? Yeah, fucking amazing. Yourself? We've just finished our DJ set in the Republic store to a buzzing crowd, the atmosphere was insane. Have you ever taken a girl on a [...]

Ottawa's favorite indie pop rock band The Love Machine has dropped a second music video from the Sweater Weather album. It happens to be my favorite track (which has been re-recorded) " Love Is On Your Side ". The music video is mostly a tour video for their Canadian Music Week showcase back in Winter of 2011. The band will be playing this Thursday for Live 88.52s Big Money Shot. Let's hope they make it through and win big. Details are on here . Also [...]
Liberty X - 'Just A Little'

Good afternoon pop lovers. We have been a little quiet on the blog of late, but our club has been going strong with brilliant nights in July and August and we are back back back tonight with September's Love Machine club night. The last two nights have seen us branch into the often neglected world of megamixes, initially inspired by Beyonce's Destiny's Child mashup at Glastonbury (we still haven't quite recovered….), then moving into a Spice Girls one last month (no particular reason, although we realised we'd never played Stop at the club before - what [...]
