Here's something very special - and free - straight from Dublin. The Minutes would like to gift you the demo for 'Heartbreaker' featured on their debut album 'Marcata', released this past Monday (30 January). The 'Heartbreaker' single drops on the 13th of February (yes, that's the day before Valentine's Day, if you're looking for something especially rocking for your sweetie). It might be a cold autumn night outside, but inside London's Forum it is slowly filling with hot sweaty bodies looking to pogo the night away to one of Ireland's finest exports. Flogging Molly are early into the current tour in support of new album 'Speed Of Darkness', but before the Celtic punk seven-piece take to the stage, some friends from Dublin are here to kick things off. Hounding horn fuel, big-sounding ska frivolity is topped off by the fuzzy grizzly, garage rock skirting vocal pounce of Mark Austin, 'Black Keys'. Throbbing percussion leads nicely into a churning 'No One Knows' era Queens of the Stone Age instrumental stomp. Yearning homesickness is a clear lyrical message that fights through the rhythmically raucous accompaniment. A willingness to take old fashioned Rock N' Roll through a variety of genre boundaries and, the expressiveness of their moustachioed front man. Will surely see these Dubliners make an impact.

The Minutes ' successful year rolls on. Currently on tour with Flogging Molly in Europe and with a 11-date German tour coming up, the band have been picking up word of mouth plaudits since we debuted their debut album Marcata here back in May.
