Off the heels of playing this year's Coachella music festival, the Morning Benders have entered the studio to begin work on their new album. The band are currently in the midst of recording the follow-up to 20102s ' Big Echo' . In a slew of Twitter postings the band are updating fans on the progress of their new studio album. "Officially started recording "the album" ", read one tweet. No word on when the new album is set to be released.

Man, this remix has me going. I absolutely love it. The original is a quality indie rock track on its own but the good Doctor Rosen Rosen can't seem to touch anything without turning into gold. In this instance, he transforms "Excuses" into an even catchier and unique single. It leans more pop than indie rock and that is alright with me.
