Moviegoers in select cities will be able to shake, rattle, roll and levitate in their seats as they watch J.J. Abrams' summer sci-fi thriller Super 8. Screenings are slated to take place in about 50 North American theaters that are outfitted with D-Box Motion Code seats. It's been almost five months since I last posted about The Moviegoers , introducing you to their Lo-Fi Summer Pop sound, and now they've released a video for their single "Avalanche". It's appropriate since it's cold and a lot of the world is covered in snow at the moment, getting trapped on roads or in airports or at Granny's house, and the video is one giant glacial, found-footage-comprising behemoth of snow, ice, ear-warmers, kids, and sleds. I wrote about the Moviegoers last EP "Or The Gun" last summer and I was a really big fan of it, and since then they have dropped a new EP titled 'Be A Man' (see above) and have also come out with this brand new track "Show Me The Way". They continue to show a mastery of the indie-pop sound and are able to put all the pieces together in a melodious package with the best of them.
