Thunderstorms have been rolling through the Chicagoland area since yesterday evening, so hopefully the weather will cool down a little for Lollapalooza this weekend. That would be a very good thing after more than a week of 95+ degree days. I'd like to know which of you out there are actually going to Lollapalooza? I know that MOKB Dodge will be there, but what about you? Let me know and I'll see you there. Oh yeah, check out Blues Traveler's interesting cover of The Clash. Hmmm.... [...]

This is my list of the 10 I liked best for the first half of 2006 and just three words describing why I like each one. 1. Arab Strap - The Last Romance [...]
Katzenjammers - "Cars" (mp3) This is the music that would interrupt if Gary Numan turned three-dimensional, put on a steel cap and chased stars. You can almost feel a rumble pack toward the end. V.A. - "Postal Workers Canceling Stamps in the University of Ghana Post Office" (mp3) Improvised table tapping, letter shuffling, stamp stamping, and scissor clicking--a perfect mixture of semi-chance
