I don't really watch much TV, but this year I couldn't help but be sucked into HBO's The Wire. In my opinion, it's the best show ever created, and here's why. On the surface, it's a series about drug crime in Baltimore. However, the real point is how the game's players - dealers, police, politicians, street kids, informants - interact with the institutions they're attached to.
