Schön. Sehr schön. Sehr sehr schön, diese Musik, die da gerade aus meinen Lautsprecherboxen perlt. Sie stammt von der Band The Postmarks aus Florida, und erinnert mich an die Gentle Waves oder Camera Obscura. Sanfter Frauengesang, dezente Instrumentierung, die auch vor Bläsern und Streichern im Burt Bacharach-Stile nicht zurück schreckt, und zauberhafte Melodien. Die erste Single heißt

Listening to this track from The Postmarks is such a wonderful thing to have playing through your speakers on a lazy Monday. It's hearing Tim Yehezkely's innocent vocals that contain just enough sweetness to have you smiling from ear to ear while listening. Just found this band over at youaintnopicasso and they are terrific. Florida's The Postmarks are super mellow, female lead and extremely reminiscent of The Posies, Rose Melberg and the Softies, you will really like the Postmarks.
