
Today I DJ'd at the Black Market at the Black Box , Belfast, for the second time. It was great fun. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Black Market, it's a cool collection of stalls that sell everything from underground comics to vintage clothes, boutique jewellery, embroidery, vinyl, special curry powders and tons of other stuff. Claudio Sanchez (lead singer/songwriter of punk-rock outfit Coheed & Cambria) has a new solo side project called "The Prize Fighter Inferno" which, in his own words, "is kind of the original idea for Coheed & Cambria." I saw Coheed & Cambria last year in St Petersburg and was just blown away. Claudio is an incredibly talented guitarist and his 10+ minute instrumental jams on stage were nothing short of brilliant.
