Richie Egan posted a link to a free Visionair EP for download a short time ago. Visionair is a synth-based project of Richie and his Redneck Manifesto bandmate Niall Byrne. The four tracks 'Troll's Hat', 'Kin Youbi', 'Totem' and 'God's Hammer!' appear on the Autumn EP can be downloaded via Divshare or listened to via the Soundcloud streams below. Derek Nally a much respected music promotor working for Whelans and The Village while also being a forefront of Irish music by managing Juliet Turner and Ham Sandwich. A few weeks back Ham Sandwich announced a Tribute to Derek at his place of work Whelans for October 9th with special guests. Jape was in the studio with Donal Dineen last week where he talked about recording with the Rednecks, revealed that he's working on another project with Niall from the band called Visionair, played a track called 'Uh-oh' from that project as well as playing three new Jape songs 'Ocean of Frequency' , 'Hands of Fire' and 'What if I Never Saw You' live. Richter Collective reissues albums from BATS & The Redneck Manifesto

State MagazineIrish independent label Richter Collective have announced that they are to reissue The Redneck Manifesto's double album 36 Strings and Cut Your Heart Off From Your Head and re-release BATS debut album Red in Tooth & Claw . The label has said that both releases will have slightly updated packaging and will be available in all good record stores from 3rd September 2010.
