I want to make this perfectly clear, right from the get-go: The Rentals's 1995 debut, Return of the Rentals , is a small masterpiece of power pop. Boston power pop band The Cinnamon Fuzz made their NYC debut last week with an early morning show at Arlene's Grocery. (These post-midnight start times are going to kill me one day.) A couple years ago The Rentals reformed and started making music again.
