Dada Life has been dropping "Rolling Stone T-Shirt" in their live sets for a few years now. Nocturnal festival 2010 was the first time caught a glimpse of what this tune could do to a crowd. You know exactly what you are going to get with Stefan and Olle - heavy bass, kicking synths, and a load of fattening sounds. Needless to say, this latest preview is not for the sensitive ear. The last time Dada Life incorporated vocals for one of their singles it was for " Happy Violence, " we think this has the potential to top that [...]

ARTIST: The Rolling Stones - [DVD/CD] DATE: 02-24-12 REVIEW BY: Bill Adams Be a platinum-selling rock band for as long as The Rolling Stones, and there's no doubt that your music will touch a lot of people in a lot of different ways. The Stones can easily claim (with authority) that their music has made a lot of memories for a lot of people; it's been played at weddings, been requested by millions of [view more]

Instrumentally, this song is absolutely wonderful. I love how each of the instrumental breaks are so empowering. It is as if Explosions in the Sky enlisted someone like Tears for Fears to add lyrics to their music, and it's pretty wonderful. Even further their latest ten track LP was mastered by rock demi-god Jon Astley ( The Who, Bon Jovi & The Rolling Stones ), who forges a symbiotic relationship between the acoustic, folk and indie elements of Young Astronaut with their lyrics, which span a vast spectrum of unique topics, yet remain [...]
Each week, we take a look at some obscure or overlooked entries in the catalogs of music's big names. MAGNET's Bryan Bierman focuses on an album that, for whatever reason, slipped through the cracks in favor of its more popular siblings. Whether it's new to you or just needs a revisit, we'll highlight the Hidden [...]

Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais WASHINGTON (AP) - The president just couldn't say no: Mick Jagger held out a mic almost by way of command, and soon Barack Obama was belting out the blues with the best of them. The East Room of the White House was transformed into an intimate blues club on Tuesday night for a concert featuring blues all-stars of the past, [...]
One of our favorite Youtube stars, Jordan Corey, continues climbing up the musical ranks with her cover of the Rolling Stones 'Miss You.'

The memorable three note guitar riff powering the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" was intended as a throwaway placeholder to be replaced with a blaring horn section. The band ultimately decided to stick with the guitar, and, according to Mick Jagger, it was that track that "changed [The Rolling Stones] from just another band into a huge, monster band." The track ended up being the band's first-ever number one hit in the United States. Initially the song was only played on pirate radio stations in England because the lyrics were considered too sexually suggestive but it later became [...]

Every Saturday night we take a ride down the memory lane and fill up our tanks with some great edits that we'll always love. So here's In Flagranti's re-edit of The Rolling Stones' "Emotional Rescue" with elements of "She's A Rainbow" that came out on Mindless Boogie a couple of years ago. Killer. Yesterday, Tennis released their awaited second album Young & Old and right now, you can watch the new video for "Origins" . Full of grainy, vintage shots, (to our surprise) the video uses all original footage shot by the band's friend Richard Law. Is it just us, or does watching give some flashback to the 90s Jim Carrey classic, Dumb and Dumber? Very enjoyable. Let's just say we recommend this record ALOT. Pick it up on Itunes now. The PAUL MCCARTNEY talks about his new long_one, his new life, how the BEATLES almost re-united, and covers the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Nope he ain't smoking a joint in that jpeg but consuming a hash-cookie, and the best part of this article, "Fuck them."
