Artist: The Sand Band

The Sand Band hail from Liverpool and they sound nothing like the Fab Four. The Sand Band is primarily David McDonell who sings and plays guitar. Some folks may be familiar with his work as guitarist for Richard Ashcroft's solo projetcs. On the EP, McDonell gets help from Wayne Griggs on organ & space echo and is joined by the Pines Brothers who are Scott Marmion on pedal steel & acoustic guitar & Bob Picken on double bass & bowed bass (both from the band Ella Guru ).
