Yama Indra (formally paired with Damn Arms ), provides us with his enormously slick comings and goings - yet again putting Melbourne, Australia on the electro-strokes-disco-house maps for all et sundry. May the glitterballs be with you. Matt van Schie - Saturday Night (GLOVES Remix)

Not as loopin' bananas as Royal Mail upping their prices to 60p and 50p a pop, Keljet rectifies some clear sightedness back on planet Earth and opts for the lesser than known taxing approach commonly heard as formal order and decorum. Unleashed and sprung from out of its aural cage leaps a Snow Patrol president, a UFO spotted by Coldplay, Wynter Gordon reading her Last Rites and Keljet wishing that every night was a Saturday Night; filled with laserflies come 1am & No Parking signs being littered by those who prefer FREE parking instead [...]

I hope you put this on while you make your loved one a nice Valentine's dinner. Or you can spin it anytime you want to hear some smooth, respectful, hip-hop love songs. Dance music royalty Greg Wilson is in the process of giving away edits on his soundcloud . I think he's adding a new one each week, usually in wav format. This edit, an extension of an early 70s disco hit, stood out to me. It originally appeared on GW's Ruff Edits #4 release. An interesting story lies with the original, too. Read more... Over a year after she delivered two pitchy performances (of her Teenage Dream title song and "California Gurls" ) on Saturday Night Live , Katy Perry is once again returning to NYC for the show — this time to host. The good news is that, with her California Dreams Tour nearly completed, any stage fright the pink-haired American Music Awards performer had should be obliterated by now. Katy's comedy chops will be put to the ultimate SNL test on the December 10 episode. And, total bonus: [...]

On Saturday evening Florence & The Machine made their second ever appearance on Saturday Night Live . The performances on the show were in support of the recently release Ceremonials and with them brought along renditions of the two lead singles from the LP. First up, at the top you can enjoy "Shake It Out" whilst after the jump you can enjoy "No Light, No Light". Thanks to The Audio Perv for the video support.
Saturday Night Live got a dose of Florence Welsh and her Machine when they came to play two tracks from their sophomore album, Ceremonials . Up top you can watch the band play "Shake It Out" and down below, you'll be treated to "No Light, No Light". Granted, Welsh didn't treat the crowd to any flowing, arm-waving dance moves during this performance but it's still a good one to watch.
