The Silence Kit may be from Philadelphia but they sound as if they could have arrived from England in the early 1980's. Inspired in equal parts by post-punk, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia, avant-garde and indie rock, the band was started by singer/guitarist Patrick McCay back in 2002. Ich dachte immer, das Internet wäre eine unheimlich schnelle Angelegenheit. Gestern bekam ich eine Mail aus Philadelphia, in der sich The Silence Kit für die Nominierung zum Song der Woche bedankte.
