Their ability to mix and match styles from the past few decades is unparalleled and just a whole hell of a lot of fun. If you need more proof, check out these hilarious visuals for "Legend In My Own Mind". Among other oddities, the new Stepkids video for "Legend In My Own Mind" features Buckethead and Lemmy impersonators bonding at a backyard barbecue with a juggalo and several other costumed characters I couldn't identify off-hand. Directed by Best Show host Tom Scharpling, the video replicates the feel of the song perfectly, transforming a button-down office worker in to a genuine hip-hop fanatic for an unforgettable day of handshakes and high fives on New York City streets, before he attends the aforementioned barbecue featuring a wide-ranging cast of colorful impersonators. The Stepkids' debut LP is out now on Stones Throw.
