Foo Fighters and Stone Roses headline Tennant's Vital

There's a second chance to see the Stone Roses in Ireland this summer with the news that the band will headline the second night of the Tennant's Vital festival in Belfast. The Mancunians will appear on Sunday 22nd August, with Foo Fighters topping the bill on 21st. Other acts confirmed for the weekend are Florence & The Machine and The Black Keys, with more to come.

Another fantastic new band introduction courtesy of Best Fit Recordings. Fanzine are clearly infatuated with the Stone Roses and Teenage Fanclub, and their drummer might be a few amphetamines away from shadowing Reni's exhilarating rhythmic skills. Some very nice guitar work at the end only means this is a group that's capable of challenging some of the best British rock names of the 80s and 90s, I hope.
