We have some great news for fans of the Sword who have been down in the dumps since the band's former drummer, Trivett Wingo, left the band last year. The Austin, Texas metal outfit announced that they have officially added Santiago "Jimmy" Vela III to fill the hole left by Wingo. I was very surprised by Rustie 's Glass Swords . The album is clearly influenced by Hudson Mohawke 's Butter LP, but incorporates a mid-90s flavor that allows for a fresh region of exploration. It's a stark departure from his Sunburst EP, with an eclectic collection of tracks that highlight his ability to exist within a multitude of genres.
