Clare Maguire has been receiving mixed reviews since her early year release of " Light After Dark ", I personally think that all her singles are simply radio ready. Yes she has one big voice and reminds us of a modern day Cher, which if we're speaking career wise is great thing. "The Shield and Sword" is the latest single, it's quite splendid and one of the best tracks on the album. Sometimes you just have to say the hell with critics....................... . visual is up above.

BBC Sound of 2011 number 5 honoree Clare Maguire has just released a new video from her debut album Light After Dark. Cue tired Lady Gaga x Katy Perry x etc etc comparisons. I dig it. You can download "Strangest Thing" for free on her site right now.
