On her way to school Monday morning, a teenage girl was driving her Jeep to high school when a flying toilet hit her car. See, what had happened was a delivery truck driver was transporting portable toilets at a nearby location when, as he later admitted to police, one of the units wasn't latched down properly. Brooklyn’s beautifully named The Teen Age have released their new track “Second Youth”. Their brand of lo-fi punk rock is equally infectious and non-fuck giving, leading to an admirable combination of sounds. These are the type of minor anthems that help guide a late bloomer through the oft-rebellious time of their lives. Unlike most bands of this genre, this is completely accessible to the masses, which should hopefully put these New Yorkers on everyone’s radar.
