Now that the Toadies have a new album coming in July called PLAY.ROCK.MUSIC, it's only right they hit the road to support the album. Later this summer, Fort Worth grunge outfit Toadies will embark on a co-headlining tour with alt-metal band Helmet . The joint outing kicks off on July 20th in Houston, TX, and hits up locales like Jacksonville, FL, Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, and beyond before wrapping up on August 14th in Denver, CO. Californian punk-rockers Social Distortion will maintain their presence on the road this year, as they've just revealed tour dates extending through May. These guys have been pounding pavement since dropping Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes a year ago. Their last leg of dates saw the four-piece playing with acts like The Avett Brothers and Foo Fighters, and this new stretch will feature equally varied tour-mates.
