Toy Soldiers also just released a new video (below) of "Laughing Pain," the second video in an ongoing series called Lazy Sunday With Toy Soldiers . The band launched the series on Sunday, September 25th; future episodes will include videos of in-studio sessions, live concerts, and random on-street performances.

Below is the debut episode of a new video series called "Lazy Sunday with Toy Soldiers " which is presented by Ropeadope . It chronicles in-studio sessions, on-street performances, and live concerts by the local blues rockers. Featured is a new song titled "Ajam" in the key of A. It was recorded live at HotBox Studios in South Philly on September 2, 2011.

The folks over at WHYY have just announced that alt-country singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle will perform alongside Dr. Dog, The Baseball Project, Toy Soldiers, Kuf Knotz, and Birdie Busch at this year's WHYY Connections Festival concert on Saturday, September 3rd, at The Great Plaza at Penns Landing. The lineup has been announced for this year's 2nd Street Festival , which will take place on Sunday, July 31st, in Northern Liberties. Gallo & Hull are Ron Gallo and Jordan Hull , two young and ambitious musicians brought together by their love for each others' old-timey rock and roll projects.
