We've been following the career of Lissie since all the way back to December of 2009, right around the time that the singer-songwriter released her five-song EP of soulful, sun-baked folk-rock called Why You Runnin' . We recently caught wind of this little charmer from Turtle Giant, a band out of Sao Paulo. Orange Grape is the first sampling from their as yet nameless forthcoming album scheduled for release "sometime this year". Give it a listen, this is Orange Grape. Hey, anyone got any Jolly Ranchers?

They go by the name Turtle Giant and have been creating a bit of a blogosphere buzz with their latest single "We Were Kids" off their All Hidden Places EP. A few weeks ago I posted a terrific new song by South American act Turtle Giant .
