I've been incredibly intrigued by this little EP from this little trio of fellows recently. I first stumbled upon their video on youtube while looking for live videos of Imogen Heap's Hide & Seek... and wha'da ya know? They have a pretty stellar cover posted. They're a small group from NY so show some support [...]

However, it is a lesser-known fact that he began his career directing music videos [...]

Blushing girl, nervous smile - The Wallflowers I think i've already said everything i'll ever be able to say about this song. The amount of times it's in my head outside of my wake up second means it will doubtlessly come again, so i don't know what fun and amusing thing i'll write then. I still like this song a lot, but if i'm burdened to talk about it much more i don't know how i'll come to feel about it.
Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News Ebet Roberts/Redferns This year brought us the reunions of Pulp , the Stone Roses and Big Audio Dynamite , and now America can add one of its own to the growing list of reunited British bands: The Wallflowers . Speaking to Rolling Stone , frontman Jakob Dylan said he plans to reform his defunct outfit this upcoming January. "I've got [...]

En una entrevista con Rolling Stone , Jakob Dylan (hijo del legendario Bob) reconoció que tiene planes de reunir a su banda The Wallflowers . "Yo nunca sugerí que estábamos separados" explicó Dylan . No puedo hacer lo que hago en Wallflowers sin ellos. Los extraño" [...]

Okay, so it's not The Stone Roses, but in an interview with Rolling Stone , songwriter Jakob Dylan revealed his plans to reunite The Wallflowers . "I never suggested we were breaking up," Dylan explained. "We all felt we were losing the plot a little bit and we needed a break. And that year break becomes two years, then becomes three years, and before you know it five or six years go by pretty quickly. I can't do what I do in the Wallflowers without them. I miss it." He also [...]

With all the attention being paid to celebrating the legacy grunge bands this year, it's easy to forget that the early 19902s were also a true turning point for a genre that was previously known as college rock, but had been rechristened alternative thanks in part to MTV shows like Alternative Nation and 120 Minutes. Among the bands that found themselves suddenly gaining new fans, which included a young Scotty B, thanks to MTV airplay was the Boston-based act The Lemonheads . Blushing girl, nervous smile - The Wallflowers I knew this would happen. No matter how much i tried to rid myself of it it stuck with me all yesterday and until i went to bed, so this was expected. It's that guitar! Now it's just a matter of me turning on it. So what's the boy doing while this girl apparently blushes and smiles nervously? How does she feel? What self-determination does she have? History to those men who get to tell it.

Blushing girl, nervous smile - The Wallflowers The prettiest guitar line ever. Who knows or cares what else happens in this song, just as long as that guitar returns three or four more times. It does. Thank you for knowing how to write a song, Wallflowers who are not the same as Bob Dylan's son's.
It's hard not to love Inch Chua . In this second installment of Snakeweed Sessions , the Singaporean musician shares most candidly and personally the stories behind her songs. She sounds a little embarrassed recounting how "Have It Your Way" had to do with her not being able to get her motorbike license. And in her introduction to "Hurt", you can't help but share in the bittersweet resignation lying behind the strong front she puts up when she talks about losing her best friend. Still, [...]
