One of my favourite new bands of the year is Yuck . They've been consistently churning out awesome new tunes for free over the last few months and this morning they announced that they're releasing the below song as a 123 along with B-sides "The Base Of A Dream Is Empty" and "Dark Magnet." No word yet on when it'll be released or by who, or for how much, but they haven't had many physical releases so far (a couple of tapes and a split 73), with another planned for late this year/early [...]
The ever impressive Yuck are ready to spring another track on us. They are releasing a 12" for a track called "Rubber", this will be released on the 26th October so plenty of time to get this drilled into your head. In what's gearing up to be album-of-the-year-contender, in whatever year they release it, Yu(c)k are releasing gem after gem after gem. All of their songs so far have been free, accompanied by some astoundingly disturbing artwork, and each and every song has been astoundingly beautiful. We've had "Weakend" a few weeks back and four other haunting and touching gemcicles at the start of June.
