It's August. It's hot. I'm not really surprised, yet I am growing weary of the summer coming to an end. As I'm sure most of our readership has heard, Southern California was rocked (and even a little rolled, at least in Burbank where I was) by a decent-sized earthquake today. The last time we had a quake anywhere near the size of today's, boys were still kind of icky, O.J. Simpson was just a football player, and I was beginning to figure out what the big deal was about music and why the Beatles were pretty cool.
