StardonE is a producer who really got under our skin once we listened to his tracks (thankfully he kept em' coming to our inbox). We first posted about him back in September and now we can't get enough. StardonE, an electronic, disco specialist, is now with Oktokki Records alongside fellow South Korean artist Cassette Schwarzenegger. Take a listen to the StardonE remix of Them:Youth's 'Toothache' and become a believer. Them:Youth - Toothache (StardonE Remix) Them:Youth is a 4-piece indie, rock [...]

In a sleepless night like this one I find myself repeating two interstellar remixes in winamp that the good people over at too many wolfgangs introduced to me. I had no idea that StardonE , after such a short time on the interwebs, has caught the attention from label guys. Very good news indeed. them:youth - toothache (StardonE Remix) x2, enjoy guys. mp3 Them:Youth - Toothache (StardonE Remix) (320kbps) mp3 Them:Youth - Toothache (StardonE Midnight Remix) [...]

Got hooked on StardonE and his new remix package to them:youth's Toothache this weekend. The synthetic sound is great, esprcially when plastered to the light vocal samples them:youth provide in the original. Hearing StardonE on here is nothing new. Last month the bad ass knocked most of our listeners on their asses with his track CT , a track that made it all the way to number 3 in the Monthly 5 . It's damn good. Have a listen to those past tracks here . [...]

Whoever is in charge of commissioning remixes for them:youth is making us very happy. Their latest single has been remixed by StardonE twice which is a very good thing indeed. The normal remix is a happy disco-pop thing and the 'midnight' remix is a smooth operator affair. them:youth are not only a pretty great pop band from London, they're also a blog and an online magazine . Who knows, maybe they have found a niche that will dominate the music industry in the future; the blogo-band-mag. They're music is similarly genre transcending, but perhaps best described as dance pop in the Friendly Fires mould. Check out the video of their new single that was released on iTunes yesterday: The single is accompanied by three remixes; [...]

them:youth - Toothache ( StardonE Midnight Remix) StardonE has taken the original tune that is what I consider fairly stereotypical for British dance pop groups and turns into a smooth jam that you might find playing at the chillest of the chill parties. With atmospheric landscapes, bumpin' bassline and lullaby inducing synths it's bound to get your head bobbin'. Listen to the original or a more hyped StardonE remix
This post is a "QuickPick". QuickPicks are my attempt at getting all of the music that's sent to me that I like (or just music I like but have no words for because it's so awesome), out into the dubya dots. Any time I get sent music that I like I "star" it in Gmail and then go back and listen to it a day later. If it's still as good as it was a day before then it goes up on the site, but sometimes I get backlogged and can't get through writing [...]

Them:Youth makes the perfect kind of music to be remixed. It's indie rock with just enough electronic danceability to wet the palates of producers and DJ's looking to put their own spin on things. So if it wasn't already enough with Them:Youth pumping out one of my favorite tracks this year"Toothache";Their back with two extremely dope remixes of the track. The first remix is by Lung.I love how Lung took this great track and made it even greater by incorporating it with dubstep. The second remix by StardonE is a fine example of a chillwave remix with all the fantasy sound that take you to the next level." I've covered Lung a coupla months back and people went absolutely mental. And with reason. Lung is the next big thing in the dubstep / dnb scene and you folks should keep a look out for him. This track here below is one of my favorites after Afterlife (which you can buy here ): Lung returns with a brand new remix he knocked up in a few days for Them:Youth 's new single, Toothache . I don't know how he manages it with uni and work and [...]
MUSIC VIDEO: "Toothache" - Them:Youth When this song started, I was sure I wasn't going to like it. A beeping alarm clock? Quite possibly my least favorite noise in the world. Then it seemed pretty disco-heavy. Until the singing began, and somehow the disco was brought closer to the surface of indie-rock, and I found myself absolutely glued to the screen as the music video progressed. Not only was I liking the music, I was loving the chase in the video. For fear of spoiling the plot here, I wont go into detail [...]
