Set for the first week of July in Kent, England, Hop Farm Fest aims for a "return to the basics," where legends of past and present play amidst 30,000 festival-loving folks who all paid one universal price. The Walkmen recently released a music video for "While I Shovel The Snow". The band has also made it available as a free mp3. They also threw in "Orange Sunday". "While I Shovel the Snow" is a pretty song on The Walkmen latest album, Lisbon , which is an album full of many pretty songs. It's music video features Hamilton Leithauser and the rest of the band hanging in NYC during one of the many snowstorms we received this year. This video is simple, but effective in it's ability to showcase the beauty of the snow.
The Walkmen will return to Indianapolis once again, this time opening for The New Pornographers at The Vogue Theatre on April 22nd.
