![[Rare Radiohead?] Radiohead – Putting Ketchup In The Fridge](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3947265_lg.jpg)
So what's the deal? Is this actually an unearthed & long-missing Radiohead song, or an elaborate and brilliant hoax? On my first listen, I decided immediately that's Thom Yorke's voice and this is clearly a Radiohead song, but others have expressed doubt. Whatever this is, it's pretty lovely and might just be a brilliantly-conceived Christmas gift. Share your thoughts in the comments below & enjoy. Radiohead - Putting Ketchup In The Fridge
Whilst reactions to Radiohead's latest album 'The Kings Of Limbs' were generally very mixed (personally I really liked it) the Oxford band still managed to generate the usual interest we associate with them. Likewise, there seems to be quite a buzz about 'How Do You Sit Still/ Putting Ketchup In The Fridge' which surfaced today. [...]

Album #6: Biophilia by Bjork Bjork's ambitious Biophilia project, highlighted by the release of an "app" album, was problematic on a number of levels. The most glaring of these issues is the fact that if you consider the "app" album the "definitive" version of Biophilia , well, then Bjork's created an album you are encouraged to experience in solitude with headphones. And while that's often the best way to listen to music, it totally kills any social element the music may inspire. Here's why I found Biophilia [...]

Here is Radiohead with a cut from Inside out night webcast in 2002 performing 'Winter Wonderland'. You would be hard pressed to find any other Radiohead Christmas song, but I think 'Winter Wonderland' is a perfect selection. You even get to hear Thom's shout out of "It's the smurfs! Its' the smurfs!" to open up the song haha.

For those of you who feel like you're being barraged with singles by Radiohead, you're not alone. I too share your sentiments. But this time it's different. This time they've [...]
SNL 's writers and former champions made this weekend's holiday episode a must see . Between Jimmy Fallon hosting, and the consequent cameo-returns of Weekend Updaters Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the ever-absurd Tracy Morgan, and some charitable outreach for the less fortunate (Rachel Dratzch, Horatio Sanz, and Chris Kattan) - and the fact that it was the last ep before Christmukkah - it was a particularly inspired, nostalgic 90 minutes of '90s/early-aughts memories with old characters (the Nomar-loving Massholes) and winter traditions (Sanz, Fallon, Kattan, and Tracy singing their Casio-keyboard "Christmas Time Is Here" under fake [...]
A couple months back we heard that Radiohead's The King of Limbs: Live From The Basement (+ two newer tracks "The Daily Mail" and "Staircase") was to be recorded and distributed by BBC. Well, the day finally came! Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 premiered Radiohead's A-side track, "The Daily Mail," a song they have been playing live for some time. "The Daily Mail" is an intimate track that chills you to the bone with Thom Yorke's passionate croons and illustrative lyrical storytelling. Although it sounds pretty similar to the original version they did Live From The [...]

There hasn't been a Radiohead post on TQF in a while now, so here's a great track to correct that issue. The Daily Mail surfaced this past summer when the band played a few live shows around the UK. Radiohead has released four tracks separate from their latest album, The King of Limbs , and from all of those, this is by far my favorite one. The Daily Mail starts off with just Thom Yorke on the piano all by his lonesome and slowly builds up from there. [...]

Earlier in the year Radiohead played The King Of Limbs page to page, in its entirety for Nigel Godrich's live music television format From The Basement . Two new tracks were thrown in for good measure, titled 'Staircase' and 'The Daily Mail'. Lyrics for the latter have been knocking about since 2005, as this post on Dead Air Space demonstrates: "Paid off security/And got through the gate". Last night Zane Lowe premiered a studio recording of 'The Daily Mail' on his Radio 1 show, thanks to [...]

Radiohead Releasing "The Daily Mail" / "Staircase" Despite not appearing on The King of Limbs or their Record Store Day single , my favorite new Radiohead song of the year was "The Daily Mail," a thrilling cut they unveiled at Glastonbury before a proper Nigel Godrich-produced rendition arrived months later on From the Basement . As it turns out, they're putting this tune out before the new year along with another standout from the TKOL cutting room floor, "Staircase." [...]
As we previously reported, an Occupy London event this week had some surprise guests: Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Robert del Naja ("3D") from Massive Attack. We posted video of the two DJing, but this video was just posted that also features an interview with the duo at the event: The great song that accompanies the [...]

The other night, Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Massive Attack's 3D stopped by an Occupy London benefit to DJ and raise money for the cause. Both fellows also stopped to talk about the cause and its underlying concerns. Check out the video down below. Read More...

While Radiohead never did play Occupy Wall Street, frontman Thom Yorke is one of many musicians in support of the movement. This past Tuesday (Dec. 6th), Yorke joined forces with Massive Attack's 3D and producer Tim Goldsworthy for a surprise DJ set at a holiday party for Occupy London. According to Occupy London's website , "the performance was recorded for an album and HD video, "to be made available to help raise money for Occupy London and the wider Occupy movement. Following the performance, Yorke and 3D participated in an interview with Occupy London, where [...]

Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News Radiohead might not have made it to lower Manhattan to play for the Occupy Wall Street protesters , but Thom Yorke was able to show his support for the movement this week with a surprise DJ gig. Yorke, Massive Attack 's Robert del Naja and members of UNKLE spun tracks for Occupy London in the basement of an empty building owned by UBS. [...]
