As much as country has influenced some of the music I tend towards I have never been a huge fan of the genre. Sure, I would dabble here and there with the likes of Willie Nelson and company but I've never given it much of a chance at all. "Wild One" - Those Darlins Take the Appalachian back-porch music of the Carter family and paste a Lily Allen-style 21st-century 20-something's attitude on top of it and here we are. This is not complicated stuff, but it's utterly charming, somehow.
