Another silly Biggie mashup this week. You know I was thinking to myself this morning I should probably come up with some dopeness to put over the Tiesto Diplo jam. Of course I get digging into my email this morning and Dave Wrangler didn't waste any time getting busy on it. Not only that but [...]

Max Tannone, the genius who brought us Jaydiohead , has released Mos Dub, a Mos Def remix album featuring dub and reggae music. It's amazing, check out some samples, download it here . Tiesto & Diplo have also teamed up to bring us C'Mon, a nice heavy fusion form the two. Mos Dub - In My Math Mos Dub - Johnny Too Beef [...]

Cant say I knew this was on the horizon but it would appear two HUGE global production heavy weights have gone head to head to produce what is going to be without doubt a huge dance floor bomb! Think Blau! by Laidback Luke and Lee Mortimer with what appears to be a stronger Tiesto slant and you will have a fair idea of what this track is all about. Check the LOW BIT STREAM below.... Diplo vs Tiesto - C'Mon (Musical Freedom) [...]

Photo by Joshua Hanford Save your free pass for another youngster: Kyle Hall gets by perfectly fine on his own merits. Having cultivated a mouthwatering discography and forthcoming release schedule while still barely legal, one might expect Hall to embrace the title of Detroit's next great dance music producer. Yet while speaking with him in a recent phone interview, it seemed that having released on FXHE, Moods & Grooves, Hyperdub, and Third Ear Recordings was small beer next to the scope of his ambitions. His enterprising nature is backed by vibrant creative energy [...]

Tiesto & Diplo [...]

Tiesto + Diplo = Big Room Banger. Watch out summer dance-floor. Diplo, Tiesto - C'Mon (Original Mix) [Electro House] Download -Kopedale Three One Oh! New Electro/Progressive/House Tracks Served Fresh Daily!!!

Two highly regarded DJ/producers who go by the names of Diplo and Tiesto (heard of them?) recently collaborated together to create a massive stadium anthem titled C'Mon. Due to the grandiosity of the track, it will, without a doubt, be shoved down the throat of thousands of concert goers this summer season. C'Mon contains Trance elements, which can be traced back to Tiesto's production style, as well as Dancehall components, which I can only guess came from Diplo , the other half of Major Lazer . The catchy [...]

Diplo & Tiest - C'Mon diplo has been tweeting about this song for a long time and it's actually here. fun to listen to it and try to decipher who is responsible for which elements of the song likes this. I really didn't think this was real when I first heard about it. Tiesto and Diplo are two completely different producers so the fact that they made a track together is still baffling my mind. Regardless of all that though, it's a pretty damn good track. I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Tiesto (Coachella: 2 Many DJs > Tiesto), but I really think this track could grow on me. Tiesto feat. Diplo - C'Mon (320 kbps) p.s. I bet you 20 bucks it was Diplo's idea to [...]

Tomorrow, volcanic ash guffs permitting, I will be flying to Johannesburg in South Africa to check out something called Smirnoff Experience™ 'Mashup Street' . This particular happening will see South African band BLK JKS ( delighted, left ) collaborate with Tiesto in a sizeable aircraft hanger, alongside other cultural crossovers involving fashion, food, art and (who's sponsoring it again? Oh yes, Smirnoff ) drinks. It all promises to be rather exciting, and it's not often one gets the chance to say one is travelling to South Africa for a gig. Hopefully I'll be updating [...]

Today I bring you three Disco house gems from the likes of Soulwax , Riva Starr , and LOL Boys . First, I present to you all Soulwax's unique rendition of Walter Murphy's A Fifth Of Beethoven . This glitchy, fidget, Disco house masterpiece is nothing less than what you would expect from the super group. A must for any Soulwax fan, or fans of good music. Next up is Riva Starr's remix of Malente's I Like It. This remix is the quintessential booty-shaking [...]

Kele - Tenderoni School Of Seven Bells - Babelonia The Pains Of Being Pure Of Heart - Say No To Love Tiesto feat. Jonsi - Kaleidoscope (High Contrast Remix) Tobacco - Lick The Witch

Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News , New Music , Exclusive The pulse-pounding electronica of superstar DJ Tiësto doesn't usually belong in the same playlist as the experimental prog-rock of South African upstarts BLK JKS , much less in the same song. However, the two artists have collaborated on a track for Smirnoff Experience South Africa's "Mashup Street" event, and the dissimilar sounds have come together pretty spectacularly. 'Dreaming,' which will be premiered live at the "Mashup Street" concert in Johannesburg on May [...]

Dutch DJ/Producer Richard Durand mixes In Search Of Sunrise 8 In February, Black Hole Recordings announced that In Search Of Sunrise - the Holy Grail of trance music compilations - would return in spring/summer 2010. What followed was a period of intense speculation. With Tiesto departed, who'd take over the In Search Of Sunrise reins? Online forums were abuzz. Buy CDs, MP3s, more: In [...]
Guess Post: Alex M. Back There is something spiritual about Coachella. Don´t misunderstand. It is not a religious experience per se, although one imagines there would have been a few hallelujah experiences, of minds lost in bubbles of unadulterated bliss...bodies bathed in the most ethereal of glowing lights (and epilepsy inducing lasers). It is also not political. This claim that one associates with the archetypal music festival Woodstock , that collective generation turning around and giving the finger to their war mongering Mums and Dads, and then getting nude and wasted, just to [...]

It's been quite some time since we had a contest around here. So in conjunction with the release of the new Editors video for their song "Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool", we are going to be giving away a copy of the Editors Last Day 73 which contains the unreleased track "Last Day" and an acoustic studio version of "Papillon". This is the same 73 that Editors released as part of Record Store Day a few weeks ago, and now it can be yours! The winner will also receive a t-shirt from [...]

Tiësto and BLK JKS create exclusive track "Dreaming" for Smirnoff Experience South Africa The world's number one DJ/producer Tiësto has set another musical milestone with a new collaboration merging his own unique sound with the prog rock of South Africa's hottest emerging band - BLK JKS - recently awarded 'Best Alternative Music Album' at the SAMA 's (South African Music Awards, the equivalent of the US Grammys). As part of a global Smirnoff Experience™ [...]

Im sure many of you are scouring the web right now for all the photo websites that might have a photo of you wearing your newest bathing suit during your weekend full of pool parties. If that is the case, don't bother reading because we probably didn't get you. What we did get, was a little glimpse of what went down during the MUSIC LOVES FASHION party at the Riviera hotel. My friend / most awesome room mate Travis, handled the photo taking duties for the weekend and he did a good job [...]

Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News While Tiesto closed out the main stage at Coachella on Saturday, playing to a field filled with nearly as many glowsticks and pacifiers as people, Devo offered an alternative dance party for a different generation in the Mojave tent. At least on paper. In truth, most of the fans and curiosity-seekers present had missed Devo the first time around (a.k.a. the '70s) and were here to see their comeback...even though the band has actually been active again for a [...]

Day 2 started out with extremely low expectations. I was up really late the night before and couldn't sleep in that late, so I thought I would be a little out of sorts all day. But luckily after 3 breakfast burritos (the third with extra jalapeno and hot sauce) and a few bottles of water, I was feeling a little more like myself again. I took a look at the set times for the day and while I was looking forward to a few acts, I hadn't made any decisions about the night, and nothing really struck [...]
