So I planned on honoring All Day Adrian Peterson with this post, since he is a rising superstar in the NFL. I had high hopes for yesterday. The kid can RUN. Sadly, he got hurt in the game. Didn't get the chance to run all over the Packers. But we still have a nice batch of Run songs. Snow Patrol ~ Run (the first mp3 I ever purchased, way back when) Sarah Sharp ~ Run Mieka Pauley ~ Run [...]

The duo have just released their first LP, A Careless Lifestyle , on Sweden's consistently flawless Fraction Discs and the first single, "Heavy Rotation," is a repeat-worthy kind of excellent! [MP3]: Tillmanns :: Heavy Rotation (Real Highly Recommended!) [...]
When a famed indie-pop mailorder house (Fraction Discs) decides to get into the record label game you assume that they know exactly what they're doing and that they've heard a shitload of pop, so they probably have great taste, and will only put out the best stuff available. Depending on how much you like Tillmann's new material you may agree or disagree with the above statement. I find their music off-putting and disorientating. I mean that in a good way though. They use some of the elements of [...]

Swedish band the Tillmanns will be releasing their debut album via Fraction Discs on August 25th 2007. It's titled A Careless Lifestyle . The label have made a track, titled Heavy Rotation , taken from the album available as a free download. It has a very dark 1980's synth pop feel to it, almost gothic in parts. As it's the albums opening track it will be interesting to hear how the rest of the album pans out. It's certainly not what I expected based on the bands previous single Run . [...]
