Last weekend at Sundance Film Festival, Rough House Pictures premiered the Rick Alverson-directed film, The Comedy , which stars Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, and also former LCD Soundsytem frontman James Murphy. As a press release notes, The Comedy offers "the audience a look behind the curtain at the cost of American Utopianism and its unintentional byproduct of numbness and disconnect." You know I'm a longtime fan of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, so the idea of a Tim and Eric movie sounded too good to be true.

What better way to test out this new iPad blogging app I am trying out than a great Hermunds Canes campaigns video? I hope it all works really well because I am sick of taking my 55" laptop with me everywhere I go!

Last week video surfaced of passionate (ostensibly ecstasy-friendly) National fans dry humping to "Bloodbuzz Ohio" at Coachella. Tim Heidecker is one half of the creative mind behind Tim & Eric: Awesome Show, Great Job , a show that has been making me laugh and feel uncomfortable for a few years now. Heidecker and show partner Eric Wareheim are two of the most creative people on television currently, but their creativity is definitely an acquired taste. The silly segments, quick and cheap video editing, and at times gross-out humor are staples of the show and can easily turn off a normal television viewer. Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have made it into Sundance Film Festival this year with their film ' The Terrys '. The short film which goes for 15 minutes is based around two drug-induced lovers that conceive a baby, which to them is a pure inconvenience...
