If you're down with instrumental hip hop, it's a vacation worth taking. "The Times" is one of the few tracks that breaks the instrumental mold. The lyrics are devoted to much of the political turmoil going on in Northern Africa recently-with special attention on Sudan. Look for Clouds on Mello Music Group .
I think this month was a bit better in terms of quantity with five tracks that I certify 4-stars on my iTunes. Yes I put star ratings on all songs, with 1 stars usually finding the trash and 4-stars and above getting blog attention. First comes T.

There are a few remix competitions going on at the moment, bring loads of artists with their different interpretations. One is Seba - Painted skies hosted by Knowledge Mag , the other is Chase & Status ' track 'Time'. So this past week, I've been taking my time fully digesting the new Chase & Status album, No More Idols. It is definitely one of the better albums I have heard recently, and the style of some of the songs was very surprising to me. The album, without a doubt, has the dnb and dubstep that Chase & Status are known for, but it also has some very rock influenced, and ballad type tracks mixed in. Afrojack just came out with a new remix of a song he produced for The Black Eyed Peas called "The Time (Dirty Bit)". The original version of this song is mediocre pop, but this remix transforms it into some hard hitting electro house. It has a Benny Benassi-esque sound but it's all in Afrojack style.
