This is a new feature and we'll see if we can make it daily. It's designed to get info out quicker. We've had an incredible amount of e-mail entering our inbox, so we bring you The Morning Mail . We will post streams, mp3s, and videos that we enjoy and emerge fresh from the inbox and other sources of notification. [...]

Australia’s Tin Can Radio is back on the scene with an energetic new single and an exciting new interactive EP. Known for their energetic impromptu street shows, Set Sail trades curb side acoustics for east coast venues. Facing great uncertainty earlier this year, with lead singer Brandon Hoogenboom being deported from Australia, the band have managed to get a correct visa and grant Brandon access back into the country. Starting the tour in their home town Sydney, they will head north to Brisbane and play an intimate Black Bear Lodge gig with Tin Can Radio as support on Thursday and wind their way back down south to Byron, up to the flower city [...]

Sitting in my hostel room in Barcelona, looking through the photos of the second summer I had in 2011 got me craving some summer tunes and I figured, seeing as most of you guys are actually in summer, why not share... First up, Poco La Pax . A Melbourne electro pop outfit, this track is a bit The XX meets a killer horns section, although the vocals and lyrics remind me of Stars. These guys are playing a free gig at the Evelyn this Monday the 9th, with Secretive George [...]

Friday night is a great time to see live music, and The Hi-Fi did not disappoint with Tin Can Radio's 'From Moments to Memories' Single Launch. Expect the unexpected is all I was told as I embarked upon my maiden voyage through the sonic sounds of Brisbane's most exciting hippies. From behind the curtain, the five-piece, comprising of Pig, Cat, Frog, Panda and The Fruit* (*sourced from MySpace, and in reference to particular hats), walked cryptically into my imagination with the aid of morphsuit-clad minions (sporting the aforementioned hats) and a menagerie of lights, colours and projected visuals. [...]

Was trawling my inbox recently and came across something kind of special. Stop me if you've heard this before, but those cats at Triple J Unearthed just keep coming up with the goods, and it's getting harder to ignore the fresh cuts their artists are turning out. Our latest favourite unsigned gem is a five-piece out of BrisVegas called Tin Can Radio. They've been flying under the radar in recent months banking solid performances at a few of the Sunshine State's leading indie festivals and the hype around them says they've got the goods. Before their [...]
