Ding Ding! Round Three ... After being blessed with the foresight and the drive to continually persist on producing tracks from out of his college dorm room, success was finally found from Luigi III's (aka La Zebra) own creative hands. Retaining the effort put in by some driving and aural-watering numbers, the likes of Xinobi , Tobtok , Ecxellior and Reflex are all noted here in creating some digital WAV lovelies. The La Valigetta wholesomeness continues. BONUS!

Hi there Did you guys ever heard about Tobtok ? Well I did not until today, and that's a shame ! He released an EP called Reincarnation on Stardust Records today. If I had to actually compare his style to other artists' I'd say he's between Daft Punk (Discovery period) and Madeon, that's not too bad right? There is only one thing I don't really enjoy, it's the way the songs end, [...]

Creating an image of a world set ablaze, bathed in neon light and driven by a pulse, Tobtok's sound has undoubtedly become one of the most electrifying of two-thousand and twelve. His original productions emit explosive energy with a unique blend of synth rock, electro and french touch finesse. Forthcoming on the equally electrifying Stardust Records , it's the Reincarnation EP . Available February 21st, it features remixes from Odahl , KorgBrain , Magna , JNL Cinemafunk and Kosmetique . Must Have. [...]

Dusk at Mount Carmel Pond, Newfoundland Bonjour tout le monde, hope your weekend was well! The snow and sleet have stopped, the wind has died down, and Hot Biscuit and I have woken up to a pretty chill and relaxing Sunday. And with their being so many disgustingly good new tunes recently, we figured we'd post them as a Sunday Playlist so you can add a little disco to your day. Hope you enjoy. Goldroom's title track off his recently released Angeles EP should cure what ails ya, alcohol [...]
With a looming second semester of my senior year looming in my face, I won't be covering the Friday Funk with an emphasis on journalistic or creative writing. Yes, the Funk will still be every Friday, but most likely less writing will go into it. Enjoy the 8 free funk tracks inside: Download: Friday Funk, January [...]

With what may be my favorite remix thus far of Katy Perry' "Last Friday Night", I introduce you all to Tobtok. This House remix is a must download. Be sure to check out more of his music on his Soundcloud .

PB&J have done an outstanding job on this one, reaching out to the far corners of the world to bring you some of the finest and freshest sounds around. You should be familiar with a lot of the names on the Funk Compilation as Remix86 favs like Kreap , Oskar , She Said Disco , Calembour , flubba , Cream Dream , Florian Bery and Cantinabend . There's also a lot of stuff that was new to me but they have one thing in common, all damn enjoyable [...]

Yeah that's right, I'm posting a Katy Perry track. Well that's not entirely true, as the real focus of this post is on Swedish producer Tobtok . We've been following his work for quite sometime now, observing how his style is evolving and growing over time. Getting past Perry's vocals (which I am not a fan of), there's two things that sprung into my head after hearing this remix. Production quality and versatility. With his unique style, he managed to turn Last Friday Night into a big room electro pop jam that may be [...]

Now for some Swedish talent that it's about time we write about. A little over a year ago we were tipped off by friends from Uppsala about the production abilities of young producer Tobtok . Back then he was still in high school and had only been making music for a short while, but you could still hear that he was worth following. Growing up he listened to all kinds of music; a lot of rock and metal, but also old disco. One of his early childhood idols was Michael Jackson, who still is a big influence. It was [...]
Yes, go ahead. Rub your eyes in disbelief. We haven't been sitting on our thumbs over here at PB&J. We have asked a few artists or their managers nicely to a funk compilation. Above, you will see the names of 19 committed artists who will each contribute one free, unreleased original or remixed track; [...]

Swedish producer Tobtok caught our eye quite some time ago and continuously impresses us with his unique blend of funk, nu disco and french flavoured tracks. Since that time we've seen his work quickly build in popularity, gaining thousands of plays on SoundCloud and having some of his work released under one of our favourite labels, Stardust Records . Today we're rocking out to Electric Horror , a synth-ridden anthem for late nights and crowded rooms with a kind of epic, retro-future sound. He actually made this a few months ago and recently decided [...]
Let's get one thing straight here: Mord Fustang I'm ruthlessly hungover from the show at The Beacham (Orlando) last night, sitting in my ruthlessly interminable biology class and looking forward to my internship afterward. I'm not asking for any sympathy, but rather wanting to emphasize that, though the odds are against me at the moment, I [...]

Say hello to Tobtok , a producer from Sweden with a very unique sound. His creations live somewhere on a tripoint border be point between nu disco, funk and french house, but you can rest assured that they'll all make you do the same thing. That is, feel good and dance. His latest upload is a free two track extended play made up of some of his old productions, called I'll Never Forget You . Amazing times on this one, listen and download below. Tobtok - I'll [...]
Tobtok may only be 18 but he's been throwing out some seriously good tracks. His latest release, the 'I'll Never Forget You' single, is made up of two slightly older tracks released for free on SoundCloud and is pure joy to listen to. Sitting between synthetic Disco and French Touch the lead track is a big builder with a chord progression that is total euphoria. Everything cuts through the mix on this track, from the retro synth stabs to the driving arpeggio. Quality stuff. the flip side, 'Pressure' brings a more Nu-Disco vibe to the table. Slick [...]

So we featured Tobtok, the 18 year old Swedish producer, and threw you two of his first tracks last spring . Since then, Tobtok has been in the studio working hard and he recently released "I'll Never Forget You", which is some material that was crafted earlier this year and is now available for download! Both tunes on the EP are classic with nice buildups and quality loops. Check them out, and show this guy some love. Download: I'll Never Forget You [...]

Figured with this miserable heatwave that there would be no better time to share Volume 2. Not to mention, I've come across quite a fair share of music that's definitely worth sharing. Stay cool. After attending RAC at Brooklyn Bowl last night I couldn't help myself but lead off with this Ellie Goulding remix. Lights is an awesome song in general and RAC only makes it better. I'm a big time RAC fan and this has already become one of my favorite remixes. The release was made official on July 19th off of Polydor Records. [...]

To all of my fellow Boston Vacayers, if you haven't already, make sure you clear your schedule for the week of April 18-24. Starting on thursday, Team Vacay is going to be assembling for a panel discussion over at Northeastern to discuss "The Music Industry and Post-Blog Internet" to kick off the week of festivities. Together Boston is a festival that started last year and serves as a way to bring the Boston community together through music, art, and technology. While a large chunk of the lineup for the week consists of local up and comers [...]

A pert little, starry-eyed-surprise throws it limber entitled fruity-disco-weights around in splendorous merriment. Tobtok sees to it that a generation who loves electronic dance music to the core, doesn't go without a nod to Roulé, activating cherished smiles abound and using phasers n' keys like it was 1981. Thriving Swedish stuff! TOBTOK – So Magical
