Parisian electro-pop duo the Penelopes have really been developing as remixers with a slew of expert reworks over the last 6 months culminating in there excellent remix of David Bowie's 'Let's Dance'. Axel and Vincent's latest is a moody disco remix of Tom Tom Club's 'You Make Me Rock And Roll'. Perennial dance party band Tom Tom Club brought a funky and celebratory vibe to the evening concert at Non-COMM last night. "Does everyone have a drink?" drummer Chris Frantz asked the crowd as they took the stage. "Okay, good." As we reported last week , Gaspar Noé — the man responsible for the French films Enter the Void and, shudder, Irreversible — has directed the video for the rather excellent new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds single "We No Who U R."
