Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard of Deadmau52s collaboration with a fan by the name of, Chris James. Together they made what is, "The Veldt". Yet again, Tommy Trash has graced the song with his monster remix skills.
Last night, Pete Tong debuted Tommy Trash's remix of Deadmau52s " The Veldt " on his essential mix and got the world excited for a fresh spin of the growingly popular single. "The Veldt" has seen a positive response from fans thusfar, but its revolving loop character can arguably use a face lift. Tommy does just that, outdoing the original tenfold by injecting previously absent energy with synths and kicking bass. Hopefully by now everyone has heard Deadmau52s newest track ' The Veldt ' which after being released on Sunday, has already spawned at remixes and reworks, including this lovely Project 46 reboot . Although the Tommy Trash remix has been in rotation on the live circuit, the full length public debut came yesterday via Pete Tong's BBC 1 Radio Essential selection show. The original's build up is strictly chord progression in its most electro form, a style derived from Deadmau5 territory.
