Missouri's Ha Ha Tonka may have a confounding name, but their can be no denying that this quartet has just about cornered the market on ramshackle Americana in 2011. Death Of A Decade is available now from Bloodshot, and it wouldn't be at all shocking to see it pop up on a couple year-end Best Of lists. Fans of the band will be pleased to learn that the boys have been given a coveted slot at this year's Austin City Limits Festival. And [...]

Not sure who PeterLicht is, wikipedia tells me he could be a little bit cheesy and that "Sonnendeck" song was his biggest hit to date. However, German producer Tonka has made a nice little bootleg of the track, full of nu-disco/italo goodness and he's giving it away on his soundcloud. Very cool, ideal for a Summer evening.
