I knew someone would come through with a fabulous follow-up to Dance Crazes That Never Caught On. Actually, I knew it would be Yetsko. Welcome to Undiscovered Dance Crazes. Let's get down: Traveling Wilburys - Wilbury Twist This dance sounds totally hard but totally worth it. And if you know nothing about the Wilburys, try and pick out the vocals of what are surely some of your favorite rock and roll stars. Hasil Adkins - Chicken Walk [...]

I don't get it either. I don't know about leap years. The thought of an extra or bonus day excites some people and they spend it doing something they might normally avoid or trying to take some advantage of the added time, but it's the kind of thing that gets me all bothered, because if I don't do something, then I'm made to feel like I inherently wasted this glorious extra opportunity that we only get every four years because some dude screwed up when putting together a calendar all [...]
23/30 pages finished. [MP3] The Traveling Wilburys - Heading for the Light

So much to do - so little time. I'm leaving for a 2 1/2 week cross-country trip tommorrow, starting with a flight into Chicago at 6AM > a flight to Portland Oregon. Once there, I'm going to the Nike compound to assist on a few different events. I'm definitely excited, as I'm sure the grounds are going to be ridiculous and I'll also be able to get my holiday shopping done. After four days on the leftest coast, I fly Sunday AM down to good ol' Miami Floridaze for a week long work event. How the heck am supposed to [...]
Oh Monday... --- I loved Art Brut's first album, and I've been anxiously awaiting their second album. It leaked recently, and the first single, " Direct Hit " is, well, a direct hit. Absolutely wonderful, hits the mark 110%, and is a typical quirky British nutty Art Brut song. Highly recommended. --- The best of any supergroups that have existed or ever will exist, in my mind. Roy [...]

According to Tom Petty's website , both of the Traveling Wilburys albums, Vol 1 and Vol 3, (both of which have been out of print for ages) will be re-issued June 12. If purchased together, a DVD will be included that contains bonus tracks and video footage. Though I own both albums already, I'll certainly be picking up the set. So, as Ive mentioned here in the past month or so, Im having a blast spinning music on WOXY.com in the evenings now. Im on from 5-10pm eastern, except for this holiday week, where im only on from 3-6. Anyway, since WOXY is now a part of the LaLa media group, ive become quite addicted to their trading services. I thought Id give it a quick rundown here as I attempt to get back into posting habits after a holiday break. Here are the things about lala im really having fun with. [...]

Faithful visitors to this blog may remember a time, nearly 350 days ago, when I attempted to post 60 songs throughout the course of November. All was going well and I was on track to complete my task when suddenly, in a post about Jenny Lewis's cover of the Travelling Wilburys' "Handle With Care," STEREOGUM linked to my site where the original was hosted. Literally thousands of people visited PIMPS OF GORE in a matter of hours, and my bandwidth for the month was kaput. I found it a little bit amusing that my site was crippled not [...]

I started this blog on this week last year. I was a naive kid who had way too much time on his hands and had no idea what he was doing ( read for yourself if you must). Eventually, Music For Kids Who Can't Read Good grew into something that I felt proud of creating and I owe any success that I might or might not had to all you readers (unless you're a damn troller in which case, I owe you my bandwith problems). Last May to celebrate my 100th post [...]
