The first annual CounterPoint Festival is taking place September 27-29 on a 350–acre farm in Fairburn, GA. The three-day music festival zeros in on the multiple genres within the electronic music scene. It will feature headliners such as Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, M83 and Crystal Castles along with several local stalwarts in the dance, hip hip and chillwave circles. Treasure Fingers is no stranger to the pages of Metrojolt. The Atlanta native has been ripping clubs up for years and I've been a devoted worshippers ever since I heard Cross the Dancefloor. His newest EP, Rooftop Revival, consists of one original and 4 remixes. The original mix of Rooftop Revival starts strong with a solid groove and a catchy chopped up vocal sample. It's easy to dismiss Scion A/V as a label: I mean, cars and music aren't exactly manufactured in the same way, so you wouldn't necessarily expect for a car company to have their finger on the pulse of the electronic scene. But they have proven me wrong several times, most notably with their release from Skream and Benga -- two forces not to be reckoned with.
