YC The Cynic is back with another cut off his upcoming  Good Morning, Midnight project. And like " Shut Up " before it, "Night Thoughts" is another personal outing for the Bronx MC. But this time, he and producer Yuri Beats have slowed the pace a touch and heavily sampled Potholes fave tUnE-yArDs . The resulting cut is an unofficial, but  ill , collaboration that has us wishing it was July 20 already. That's the release date for  GMM , in case you're wondering.

For a good stretch in the mid-aughts it seemed as if Ryan Adams was putting out a new record just about every few months. After missing tUnE-yArDs last year at Pitchfork Festival and then reading numerous reports of her killing it, there was no way I was going to make that mistake again. Fortunately, Merril Garbus and co. did not fail to impress, putting on one of the most charming and entertaining sets of the weekend. Day 2 of Bonnaroo threw out the constraints of short sets and pumped up the jam from afternoon 'til dawn.
