2Pac's death is the subject of much debate, so much so it can be hard to seperate fact from fiction. One amusing development is the widespread belief that 2Pac was a victim of The Illuminati. The theory goes that a secret devil worshiping society called "The Illuminati" control much of Hollywood and the music industry. They targetted 2Pac and forced him to change his lyrical content. Under their control he was forced to change his political message and become a puppet for their evil agenda. Theorists believe this is evident in many [...]

Alright here is another #latepass guys! Tyler, The Creator put this summertime mix together and tweeted about it. I already knew it would be filled with N.E.R.D., since he's a self-proclaimed stan, and I was right. But there's also hella other goodness (see: Toro y Moi, Grizzly Bear, James Pants, Stevie Wonder) on here that definitely sounds and feels like summertime. You can play this in your car or while you work or whatever. Get into it. The mp3 is too large to stream, but here's a track from the mix. Full listing after the jump. [...]
15 years after his death, Tupac songs still keep popping up.
Just three weeks after Dexter Isaac confessed to shooting Tupac in 1994 on the eve of what would have been Tupac's 40th birthday, two new old tracks have hit the net. 'Watch Your Mouth' is full of disses aimed at De La Soul - "y'all went Three Feet High & stopped rising," Dr. Dre and Nas - "He ain't made a beat in six years, swear he the shit / won't get any record sales sucking Nas' dick," and P Diddy - "Queen Puff never had no heart to start / So how the hell [...]

With all of the controversy surrounding his legacy , it's easy to often lose sight of just how talented and influential Tupac really was. Now, two recently unearthed diss tracks in "Watch Yo Mouth" and "NY '873 give the world a cutting reminder that Shakur was a man not to be trifled with. That means even you, Wendy Williams . While these new versions have never before been released, each have made the rounds online before as lower quality versions. "Watch Yo Mouth" sees the Thug Life general go off on everyone [...]
Why is Dave Chappelle so hilarious? Because, he only talks about the truth. A skit off the Lost Episodes , highlights Tupac's posthumous releases, "might skip, might skip, I told you, stop hitting the table." Tupac has nine albums after his tragic death and now two diss tracks, "NY 873 and "Watch Yo Mouth." The former has Tha Dogg Pound, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt, going in about the East Coast , West Coast rivalry. "Watch Yo Mouth" is a more heated exchange, where Tupac takes shots at Nas , De [...]

Tupac - Watch Ya Mouth (Unreleased) It's no secret that Tupac Shakur was bad at playing with others. He was nothing if not paranoid and angry. This newly uncovered track from the Tupac library features vitriol spewed at Tupac frenemies like Biggie, Bad Boy, Dr. Dre, Mobb Deep, Jeru the Damaja, Nas and even De La Soul!!! I was in the studio with The Jealous Guys last night and their engineer told us he did Tupac's "Thugz Mansion" and is about to go back to work on 20 [...]

The MMG boys went HAM last night in ATL to celebrate Pac's 40th. Mike Epps hosted the event and I'm sure he was on that brown, cheesing like a mug on stage next to Meek.

Tupac has been in the news lately. It would have been his 40th bday yesterday and at the same time the person who killed him came forward to admit it. It is sad, but remix DJ, Z-trip , decided to honor Tupac with a fresh remix of his track, " Better Dayz " enjoY!

Before I continue with anymore posts, let me take a moment to wish a happy birthday to one of the most influential icons in hip hop history. We all know Pac was taken from us way to early and if he were here today music would look and sound a lot different. Pac was an artist, a poet, an author and above all an inspiration to entire genre of musicians. Happy Birthday my dude. You'll always be missed and never be forgotten. June 1-6 7-1/ The day mama pushed me out [...]

Happy Birthday to Tupac Amaru Shakur ... today is the day we celebrate one of the greatest hip hop artists and visionaries ever. It's really hard to explain how much of an impact this one man had on such a vast amount of people in the music world. His vision was simple... keep it 100% real... no bullshit. His drive was unbelievable. His love for the music one couldn't even begin to explain. As a fan from day one, I can say that he was pretty much amazing. So happy birthday Tupac your music will always live on.

Anyone who's followed the site knows I'm a huge Tupac fan . There's no surprise I would make a post commemorating the legendary rapper's 40th birthday. To be honest, I didn't really want to make a post, if you guys remember, when I listen to Pac it means it's my "alone time," my "Fuck off. Leave me in my own world" type of mood. Well, I just wanted to say one quick thing: fuck Dexter Isaac! I'd rather shy away from talking about Tupac Shakur's murderer, so happy birthday, Pac. Fun fact: After learning that Tupac [...]

Tupac Shakur is arguably one of the most influential and talented rappers of his generation. Pac would have been 40 years old today. Crazy, right? Check out this recent footage of some Pac love from J Cole at Bonnaroo and one of the many Tupac tribute videos. If you're headed out for a couple after work today, be sure to pour one out for Pac. RIP - Respect!
