Darragh Nolan ( Sacred Animals ) is a rising name in the remix game, having already whipped up indie-experimental spins on tracks from Twin Shadow, Young Wonder, House of Wolves and more. His latest finds the Wexford-based producer reworking Pretty Heart 's gorgeous entrancing single "Toy." Nolan's take on the track sounds a bit less brooding than the original, chopping Morgan Holliger's vocals over dreamy toybox synths and percussion. Stream it below. Minnesota's own Observer Drift came out of no where. Apparently Collin Ward is a 20-something year-old out of Bloomington doing everything himself (press, promotion, writing). First signs of his efforts appeared on the web late 2011 and since he has released two full-length albums, Corridors and Fjords . Twin Shadow are one of my favorite bands to see live. Lead singer George Lewis Jr. clearly enjoys being on stage, and a year on tour promoting last year’s excellent Confess album has perfected the band’s live set.
