JD Twitch aka Keith McIvor is one half of Optimo (the legendary Glasgow party), he's also an outstanding remixer which he shows us with this take on fellow Glaswegians in Midnight Lion and the track "All Greatness Stands Firm". JD Twitch twists it to a hypnotic acid house feel with the help of pulsating lazerlike synths, ping pong sounds echoing in the background, the odd bleeps here and there and repeated use of some of the original vocals. In support of their critically-hailed debut "Bodiless," Connecticut's own genre-bending electronic band Twitch The Ripper (TTR) will be hitting the road this Spring and Summer with dark luminaries such as Ego Likeness with The Ludovico Technique, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult with 16 Volt, and a one-off with current buzz band The Funeral Party. "For our first US tour, we couldn't be more excited," says Jon Dobyns (vocals, synth, guitar), one half of the electronic duo along with Lonn Bologna (programming, synth, drums).
