Any summation of 2009 would be inadequate without a mention of the brother/sister duo Two White Horses. Here's an update to my original post which is below, the song "Eyes Of The Noble": Eyes Of The Noble (via Let Me Like It ) ----- "Good Times Are Gone Forever" may be about growing up and realizing childhood is over, but it's hard not to think about the song more in the context of our present global meltdown. I love Lovissa's voice [...]

When Jake Szufnarowski (Tragedy) and Paul Green (School of Rock) - two of the most hard-to-impress men in the music industry - tell you to check out a new band, you'd be best advised to give them a shot. Green was recently in Sweden with his School of Rock and took in a concert by Swedish Pop act Two White Horses . He fell in love with the Brother/Sister duo's beautiful, honest and heartfelt music. Paul came back to the States and played a few songs for Jake and Sznufnarowski was sold on the band within seconds. [...]

Gosh, is that another month gone already? Looks like it has, so it's time for another Music Alliance Pact, where the world's blogs come to The Daily Growl, courtesy of the hard work of MAP organiser Jason Pop Cop. This month he's outdone himself by providing HTML script to make ...

Here's March's edition of the Music Alliance Pact. For those of you who don't know about MAP, it's a collection of music blogs from around the world who band together once a month to shed light on up-and-comers from their home countries. It's sort of like the WTO without the human rights violations. This month we've welcomed French blog SoundNation and Denmark's All Scandinavian to bring the total participation to 24 nations. Our contribution this month includes a beautiful, budding track from Florida-based Viernes . Nathaniel's decree [...]

This month's instalment of the Music Alliance Pact is out & about - there are now 24 participating blogs from around the world; every month you get one track from an artist or band in each country. It's a great way to discover something new - read the March list at The Pop Cop , who came up with the idea. As always, there's some splendid finds to be made; and not to suggest that the others aren't well worth a listen - these jumped out & grabbed my attention. [...]

My Irish contribution is the opening track from David Kitt's new album The Nightsaver which I suggest you get when it comes out on March 27th. AMERICA: I Guess I'm Floating [...]

Disfruta... [...]

Once a month the Music Alliance Pact brings bloggers around the globe together and, by heck, that time is now. The number of countries in MAP stands at a record high of 24 after we tempted ambassadors from Denmark ( All Scandinavian ) and France ( SoundNation ) to join our gang with the promise of riches beyond their wildest dreams. As Scotland's representatives, The Pop Cop has something very special from We Were [...]
This great song from the Swedish outfit Two White Horses [Myspace], "Good Times Are Gone Forever", may ring of our perceived loss of innocence and the lack of joy in the world post-childhood, but there's an edge of reminiscence that's melded into the piece. I really dig their sound and there's some really great [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]

"Good Times Are Gone Forever" may be about growing up and realizing childhood is over, but it's hard not to think about the song more in the context of our present global meltdown. I love Lovissa's voice on this track as well as the fuzzy chug chug guitar. I'm writing about this song and posting the video (below) by Two White Horses because I got two separate requests for their music this week. The live video of the duet "Face Me Know" is also jaw droppingly beautiful. Especially the interplay between the brother and [...]
