Ty Segall let out another reminder today that his new album, Sleeper, arrives August 20th via Drag City. Be on the lookout for new songs soon.

The mighty San Francisco psychedelic titan known as Ty Segall has announced a summer tour to support his new solo album, Sleeper , due out August 20th through Drag City. The docket includes appearances at  Pickathon and  FYF Fest before Segall embarks on a headlining tour that stretches from late August through mid-September. When the hell does Ty Segall sleep?? Apparently he's found time to rest amongst his barrage of releases, including last year's full-length albums Twins , Slaughterhouse and Hair and a few singles and covers this year. The rest won't last long, though, as the San Francisco rocker is releasing the follow-up to Twins on August 20th. It's titled Sleeper (haha). Watch the album announcement trailer below.

It exhausts me more just to write up this post about another new Ty Segall album, than it does for the dude himself to write, record, and tour three fucking albums in one fucking year. More album news? More album news. Beloved San Francisco garage rocker Ty Segall , who seems to release an album in some various form every half year or so, announced his newest solo LP Sleeper . The Drag City release, which is set for release August 19 in the UK and August 20 in the U.S., is the first solo LP since last year's Twins release. Carrier follows the loss of guitarist Christopher Reimer , who joined The Dodos in 2011. This band will be fortunate enough to share the bill with legendary alt rocker, Ty Segall, as he tours with his new band Fuzz . This will be a line up and a night to remember for sure. You can’t accuse Ty Segall of being a slacker. After releasing a three albums over the course of 2012, the San Franciscan psych-rocker has released a trailer for new album Sleeper . If anything, the trailer goes to great lengths to prove that Ty does indeed take time out for a quick snooze in between recording. Sleeper is due out on August 20th.
